You are not alone. It is your body that tilts toward the void, your heart that is pounding with precarious force, your mouth that has gone fiendishly dry, but while you will be in singular risk, we are all in fact with you. We imbue you with faith and want, more than anything for you to believe in yourself as much as we believe in you. Our fondness for you so profound, our hearts leap to see you fly. We have committed a million breaths, a billion beads of sweat to bring you to this moment where things that were once impossible, suddenly come into being. For us this is precious. When you leave for home to tell the story of your daring accomplishments, we work on with gratitude that your faith and our work has changed the world forever. The light has become a bit stronger because, for a moment, we held the door and you walked gracefully through.
It takes a huge amount of intention to make these attempts at flight possible. When you take the bar, know that our dreams fly with you. Feel that, and let it lift you to the sky.
With love. Jonathon |
